El Chelsea está dispuesto a batir todos los records con el fichaje de Kaká, algo normal con Abramovich al cargo. Lo novedoso es que el Milán parece dispuesto a escuchar la proposición de los blues, cifrada en unos 100 millones de euros.

Esto es lo que se deduce de las declaraciones de Diogo Kotscho, agente de Kaká, al diario inglés The Observer: “Normalmente el Milán no vende a sus mejores jugadores, pero creemos que la oferta del Chelsea es de su agrado. Por ahora tenemos que esperar porque para ellos no es fácil aceptarla”.

Si, según Kotscho, el club lombardo está receptivo, Kaká parece como loco por jugar a las órdenes de Scolari en Stamford Bridge: “Los clubes están hablando del traspaso, aunque aún no han llegado a ninguna conclusión. Creo que aún es posible que Kaká sea vendido al Chelsea en agosto. El jugador sólo hablaría de ello cuando fuera una realidad. Kaká está esperando que haya un acuerdo para empezar a
negociar su contrato con el club londinense”.

The Observer enumera un buen número de razones por las que Kaká quiere dejar el Milán. El Newcastle confirma a Coloccini

El Newcastle United FC ha confirmado el fichaje del defensa argentino Fabricio Coloccini procedente del RC Deportivo La Coruña, que firmará por los próximos cinco años. Las cifras del traspaso no se han revelado, pero se estima que ha estado en torno en 13 millones de euros.

Experiencia

El de 26 años ha disputado más de 100 partidos con el Deportivo después de llegar procedente del Villarreal CF por 3 millones de euros en 2005. Coloccini llegó a Europa de la mano del AC Milan en 1999 procedente del CA Boca Juniors, pero nunca se hizo un nombre en Italia y estuvo cedido en CA San Lorenzo, Deportivo Alavés, Club Atlético de Madrid y Villarreal antes de marcharse definitivamente al conjunto gallego.

Debut

Coloccini, campeón de la Copa Mundial Sub-20 de la FIFA y medalla de oro en los Juegos Olímpicos 2004 con Argentina, ha sido internacional en 27 ocasiones. Llevará el número 2 en su camiseta con los de St. James’ Park. Además, su compatriota Jonás Gutiérrez ha recibido luz verde para poder ser de la partida en el primer partido de la Premier League ante el Manchester United FC. El jugador de 26 años llegó el pasado mes procedente del RCD Mallorca.

Arranca la Premier League

Después de 14 semanas de descanso, pretemporada, especulaciones sobre fichajes y otros concretados, la Premier League echa a andar este fin de semana. El Arsenal FC se estrena ante el recién ascendido West Bromwich Albion FC el sábado, aunque la principal atención se centrará en los principales aspirantes al título, el Chelsea FC y el Manchester United FC.

Cambios[/b]

El Chelsea tiene ánimos de revancha. La temporada pasada perdió la liga en la última jornada en beneficio del Manchester, el mismo rival que después le superó en la final de la UEFA Champions League. Para ello se ha hecho con los servicios del técnico Luiz Felipe Scolari, que sustituye a Avram Grant, y ha incorporado a los portugueses Deco y Bosingwa. El reto sigue siendo el de aspirar a todo, tal y como reconoce Scolari: “No hay razones para pensar que no podamos luchar por todas las competiciones que disputamos”. Por su parte, el entrenador del Manchester Sir Alex Ferguson se mostraba más irónico: “He leído que Scolari es más experimentado que yo. ¿Qué he estado haciendo en los últimos 34 años? He debido estar perdido o dormido”.

Bajas en ataque

El Manchester comienza con la tranquilidad de haber levantado ya su primer título, tras imponerse el pasado domingo en la tanda de penaltis al Portsmouth FC en la Community Shield. Otra buena noticia fue la de asegurar la continuidad de Cristiano Ronaldo, que estuvo muy cerca de marcharse al Real Madrid CF. El portugués se está recuperando de una intervención de tobillo y a su baja hay que unirle la de Louis Saha y Wayne Rooney, que no podrán estar en el estreno liguero ante el Newcastle United FC. Esos problemas ofensivos no los tiene el técnico del Liverpool FC, Rafael Benítez, que podrá contar con su reciente adquisición, el delantero Robbie Keane. Los reds y el Arsenal serán una vez más las alternativas a Chelsea y Manchester.
El Tottenham, la incógnita
Pese a la marcha de Mathieu Flamini y Aleksandr Hleb, el Arsenal quiere volver a pelear por el título. Tiene una plantilla muy joven a la que se ha unido Samir Nasri, por quien ha pagado 14,5 millones de euros. Un equipo que se ha reforzado bien y que podría estar con los de arriba es el Tottenham Hotspur FC que ha gastado 60 millones de euros para incorporar a Luka Modrić, David Bentley y Heurelho Gomes, por lo que habrá que tener en cuenta al conjunto de Juande Ramos. Los recién ascendidos Stoke City FC, West Brom y Hull City AFC tratarán de adaptarse lo más pronto posible a la nueva categoría.
