El representante del delantero Cristian Fabbiani reveló hoy que la dirigencia de Newell’s le confirmó que dejará ir del club al jugador por las deudas que mantiene con él, con lo cual se abriría la posibilidad de que sea contratado por River Plate. Así lo señaló Luciano Duthu, representante de Fabbiani, al hacer alusión a una conversación que mantuvo con el manager futbolístico de Newell’s, Gustavo Dezotti. Duthu dijo por radio La Red que si bien Dezotti reconoció que quiere que Fabbiani se quede por los seis meses que restan del préstamo, lo dejaría ir “ante la imposibilidad de cumplir” con la deuda. Según Fabbiani, no recibió ningún dinero desde que está en el club, al que llegó a préstamo procedente del Cluj de Rumania, y que el ex presidente Eduardo López, que lo contrató, le había prometido el pago tras las elecciones, que perdió con holgura ante Guillermo Lorente. Duthu aseguró no querer entrar en conflicto con Newell’s, siguiendo la línea que trazó el propio jugador, sino que desea “llegar a un acuerdo” de salida para el futbolista. River es uno de los tres clubes que está interesado en el jugador. El otro es Independiente y, según Duthu, hay un tercero cuyo nombre se abstuvo de revelar. Todo lleva su tiempo hay que esperar no me desepero porqe prefiero otros jugadores pero si bien bueno mejor viene a sumar y mejorar la desastrosa campaña qe hicimos ---

Para mi que ya no viene. Se esta demorando mucho el tema. Ademas, no vaya a ser que el Tercer Club le tire una cuanta plata al Cluj de Rumania y se lo lleve. Espero que a Fabbiani le interese mas el ser hincha de River y no la plata… ---
