Rack outage - 47A Maidenhead. — 2010-07-24 19:54
We are currently experiencing power issues to rack 47A in Maidenhead.
First attempts to get this rack back on line have failed so we have come to the conclusion that it is a server in this rack which is causing the rack to trip.
Because of this, and the fact that this rack was due to be migrated tonight, we are performing the migration now so we can power each server up in a stable rack one at a time and quickly identify the server that is causing the trouble.
We aim to have this issue resolved by 17:30 so if you have any issues after this time or any queries, please let us know.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Update - This process is taking a lot longer than first anticipated. We apologise for the delay and aim to get all servers back online as soon as possible. At the present time there is no ETA on completion.

Please accept our apologies over the length of time it has taken to identify and rectify the initial cause of the rack power failure. The migration of rack 47a that was planned for tomorrow morning has been completed during this time.
Apologies once more over the time to resolve the initial fault.
