De qué sirve un i5 12va con una 1660? Desperdicio total y perdida de rendimiento

Sobra demasiado procesador. Es más fácil actualizar el procesador más adelante, que andar cambiando la placa.

La diferencia de precio entre un i5 10400 y un i5 12400 es de 11mil pesos, con 11 mil pesos no puede subir la placa a una 3060, necesita casi 90mil mas.
Si pone un 10400, como mucho puede cambiar a un generacion 11, no es compatible con la 12.

Con un i3 para 1080p le alcanza y hasta sobra un poco. Con eso esa diferencia se puede mejorar la placa de video a una RX 6600

prefiero un i5 de 12 y mas adelante cambiar la placa, mas que ponerme un i3 q son 18mil pesos de ahorro y meterle mas placa cuando tenes la generacion 13 y las rtx 4000 en camino. mete una 4050 y le queda para tirar por varios años.

El i3 incluso sobra en 4k. Más, es al pedo.
Las cosas suben de manera exponencial, para mi es asegurar mejor placa ahora. Con una RX 6600 la puede estirar mucho más tiempo que con una 1660. Hay un 20-25% de diferencia en rendimiento, es mucho.

no te creas que se la regalan,muchas veces “se la prestan” para hacer Unboxings y algunos videos probandola,despues la tienen que devolver,por lo menos la mayoria de los Youtubers se manejan asi

Buenas, tengo un i7 7700k con una rtx 2060 y pensaba updgradear micro a 12va. La placa la dejaria para mas adelante, prefiero tener el micro asegurado que se banque las placas nuevas.
Por lo que lei, para gaming un i5 12400f va como piña, porque practicamente no hay diferencia de rendimiento con un i7 12700 (estos se usan mas para rendering), y es la mitad de barato.
Mother estoy entre un msi z690-A o un msi 660M Mortar. Tengo un disco Sata Solido y dos discos M.2… en teoria ocn el 660 deberia bastar. Tengo entendido que el Z solo sirve para OC (cosa que no pienso hacer nunca), y esta unas 10-15 lucas mas caro que le 660.
¿Deberia ir por un i5 12400f con un 660?

Gente, lo mejor es buscar 5 o 6 perdonas que quieran compran una PC gamer o componentes, y luego lo compran todo junto afuera, usando aerobox y se ahorran banda de guita
