El mediapunta sufrió un desgarro en el cuádriceps izquierdo el 19 de septiembre, en la derrota ante Huracán, y ya se reincorporó al River Camp para continuar con la rehabilitación. No llegaría a la reanudación ante Estudiantes de Río Cuarto.
