Lo que le permitió al tipo ser “siquiera” comparado con Messi, es que tenia una ambición, disciplina y profesionalismo tremendo. Pero se le dio por olvidarse de eso justamente en el semestre en que debía tirar todos los cohetes. Llegadas tarde a las temporadas, peleas con el entrenador, se iba antes que terminaran los partidos, fue desleal con el club que le dio todo como el manchester, hasta agredió a un chico que era fanático de el; creo que una semana antes de que iniciara el mundial, se le ocurre hacer una entrevista donde raja de todo el mundo, creando un ambiente feo en la misma selección (que por cierto, tenían un buen equipo). Mas allá de que el cavo su tumba, da un poco de pena que su carrera termine así. De la peor manera posible. Si bien, le paso algo feo con lo del hijo, no justifica todo lo demas. ---

Su obsesión por la champions lo fundió. Debió ir al City en todo caso. Sino ya retirarse al Sporting y enfocarse de cara al mundial, al final se la pasó congelado y sin jugar, encima se peleó con compañeros de la selección que eran del United, descargó la ira con el DT, etc. ---

Tuvieron a Mário Coluna, Rui Costa, Luís Figo (mejor del mundo em 2000) y varios otros de nivel élite en Europa… Todos antes de Cristiano Ronaldo. Benfica fue el mejor club de Europa en en 1961 y 1962 (el primer europeo a superar al gran Real Madrid de ese periodo). También tuvieron grandes DT’s. Tienen tradición en el fútbol los portugueses. Son bastante más que apenas Cristiano Ronaldo. ---

Estoy contestando tu afirmación de que solo tuvieron a Eusébio y Cristiano Ronaldo. Claramente tuvieron más jugadores de nivel top mundial (incluso a uno mejor del mundo en 2000). ---
